We are an affiliate of the Cateran Society that focuses on the martial arts of 18th century Scotland including Smallsword, Backsword, Broadsword & Targe, Dagger/Dirk, Loosehold Wresting, and Bareknuckle Boxing/Pugilism. We follow the historical sources closely and strive for authenticity as well as effectiveness. We are not an SCA or reenactment group. We are an Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) group.

Our members are men and women of all nationalities who must be 69 or older. Come for laughs, conversation, a stand-in for a date, sharing your culture and history, a shoulder to cry on, or for just sitting and watching.  We plan each meetup at a location with access to public transportation and we travel as far as northern Virginia, D.C., southern Maryland, and of course Greater Towson Maryland.
